Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my order? We make every effort to ship the orders within 1-2 days of when they are placed. The items listed on The Queen Beader's website are items that are in stock and ready to go. Special orders, such as personalizations, resizing or color preferences will take about 1 week to ship. We will make every effort to communicate frequently and respond to emails promptly should questions arise.

What if I can't wear base metal? We can replace just about any base metal with sterling silver or gold filled findings for an additional charge. If the description doesn't state what type of metal it is, it's probably not sterling silver. We tend not to use much base metal anyhow, and strive for excellence with quality products and materials. Just email us and let us know what you're thinking!

What if I plan on giving this as a gift? Your item will come shipped in a beautiful package that is all ready for gift giving. We use high quality chocolate brown 2 piece boxes wrapped with a beautiful blue ribbon. We don't put any prices on the items. We'd be happy to send it directly to the receiver's address at no additional charge. Just be sure to let us know where it's going.

What is your policy on refunds? If you are unhappy with your purchase or feel the item was misrepresented send it back to us within 30 days and we will credit your charge card the full amount, plus we'll pay for the shipping back to us. Please understand though that all jewelry is subject to normal wear and tear, and each refund will be taken on a case by case basis.

Can I carry The Queen Beader line of jewelry in my store or at my shows? Most certainly. Send an email to shannon@thequeenbeader.com with an inquiry.

Can I put my own website link on your page of "Websites We Like"? Yes (at our discretion, of course). Send us a logo/url and we'll give you a "shout out"!

My silver piece of jewelry has tarnished. What do I do? HELLO!?!? Sterling silver needs to be stored in an airtight container (ziploc baggie, jewelry box, etc.) to prevent tarnishing. If it happens though, don't fret. Take a jewelry cleaning cloth (specifically made for this purpose) and polish the piece. It should look as good as new.

The letters on my hand stamped piece of jewelry are not spaced evenly. What's up with that? Well, hand stamping is different than engraving in that it is all done freestyle and by hand...not by machines. Thus, irregularities are what make it special and unique. Each piece is one of a kind.

The bracelet I like is 8" long but I need it to be 7". Can it be changed? Ask and ye shall receive. Most every piece can be altered, resized, changed, etc. A quick email to shannon@thequeenbeader.com will do the trick.
